How much is the commission when Homesellersgroup.com lists our property on the MLS? The MLS was created as an offer of cooperation and compensation for Realtors. It offers superior exposure for your property to thousands of agents who may have a buyer for your property. Depending on the market area, we recommend that you offer 2.5-3.5% of the sale price to agents that may have buyers. The amount of the commission can be decided at our listing appointment. How does the commission get paid? If a real estate agent shows your property to a potential buyer and ultimately writes and negotiates an offer that you accept, the commission will be taken out of your proceeds at the time of the closing. What if a buyer without an agent contacts me, do I still pay an MLS fee? Absolutely not! You may have someone contact you by driving by and seeing the for sale sign, or your newspaper ad or even through your open house. We provide many of the forms needed for you to negotiate an offer with a buyer. Will Homesellersgoup.com negotiate the offer for me? Our capacity is as a marketing agent for you. Because of this, we cannot negotiate an offer or provide you with legal advice. We strongly recommend hiring an attorney when you receive an offer on your property to guide you through the negotiation and closing process. See our “Helpful Links” menu button for a list of real estate attorneys and title companies in your area. Do I have to include the name, Homesellersgroup.com in my advertising? Homesellergroup.com is licensed real estate brokeage firm in the state of Wisconsin and the owners are licensed real estate brokers. When your home is listed with Homesellersgroup.com you must disclose the listing company's name, Homesellersgroup.com, in any advertising (i.e. newspaper ads, open house advertising, brochures, signs, etc...). With our name being a .com you will get the added benefit of buyers being able to view your home on our website! For Example: Lake Mills ranch, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, fireplace and two car garage only $179,900. Call (your name/number)www.homesellersgroup.com What if my property doesn't sell in 6 months?
